Today, on March 10, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa Ms. Naledi Pandor.
Noting the friendly nature of relations between the two countries, the parties underlined the necessity of further development of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The heads of external policy agencies paid special attention to further expansion of diplomatic contacts. In this regard, the parties agreed to organize and hold in the nearest future the political consultations in participation of the deputy ministers of foreign affairs, as well as intensify the contacts on the level of ambassadors and permanent representatives of two countries at the United Nations.
In the end of the conversation, the Ministers exchanged invitations and agreed to organize mutual visits, during which the bilateral documents would be prepared and signed.
