On August 11, 2025, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Ji Kyu-Taek, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, the parties assessed the current level and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Korean bilateral cooperation. The diplomats touched upon the development of relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea for his personal contribution to strengthening bilateral ties and wished him success in his future activities.
In turn, the Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for its comprehensive support and assistance in the fulfillment of his diplomatic mission.
