On December 11, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Japanese company Toyo Engineering Corporation Eiji Hosoi, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit.
Expressing sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the time devoted to the meeting, the guest noted that it was a great honor for him to participate in the celebrations of International Neutrality Day and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality as part of his visit to Turkmenistan, and heartily congratulated the head of state on these significant dates.
The businessman emphasized the importance of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's participation in the celebrations marking Turkmenistan's National Day at the World Expo 2025 during his visit to Japan in April of this year, as well as the high-level bilateral meetings held during the visit.
Having warmly welcomed the guest, the head of state thanked him for his participation in the International Forum, dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
Emphasizing that large-scale programs are currently being implemented to attract foreign investment, create new industrial complexes, and develop the energy and chemical industries, the head of state noted the positive experience accumulated with Toyo Engineering Corporation in implementing joint projects in the gas and chemical industries. In this context, they emphasized their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in building the potential of Turkmenistan's chemical industry, producing new products, and implementing environmentally friendly technologies.
Expressing gratitude to the head of state for the high level of trust and the favorable conditions created for fruitful collaboration, the businessman emphasized that his company is honored to contribute to Turkmenistan's economic development.
At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in the continued development of mutually beneficial cooperation and wished the head of Toyo Engineering Corporation success in his work.
