

On December 12, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Warmly welcoming the distinguished guest, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked the Turkish leader for accepting the invitation to the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized that Turkiye highly appreciates the peaceful foreign policy pursued by fraternal Turkmenistan and its achievements in all areas.
Thanking for the kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his firm belief that the results of the Turkish President's visit to Turkmenistan will give new impetus to the expansion of bilateral relations.
Emphasizing that the Republic of Turkiye is currently one of Turkmenistan's key trade and economic partners, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the existence of broad opportunities for developing constructive cooperation in the fuel and energy, transport and communications, agriculture, and investment sectors, both bilaterally and regionally.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for the continued expansion of cultural and humanitarian dialogue between the peoples of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan exchanged best wishes, expressing mutual confidence in the further strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkiye.
