The Turkmen-Ukrainian educational-cultural center opened In Ukraine

On February 7, 2017 in Uman of Cherkasy region Turkmen-Ukrainian educational-cultural center on the basis Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna was inaugurated. This cultural-educational center occupies a separate audience, and is a complete hall for meetings of students and teachers, lectures, seminars and conferences. The center presents national cultural artifacts and extensive literature about Turkmenistan.

At the grand opening of the center the rector of the University A.Bezlyudny made a speech in which he wished the students from Turkmenistan academic success, well-being and prosperity of the Turkmen land and the people of Turkmenistan. Rector marked the active position of Turkmen students in the popularization of Turkmen culture in the society and expressed his gratitude for the recently organized week of Turkmen culture.

Turkmen Ambassador expressed gratitude to the leadership of the University for the opportunity to open in Ukraine the next center of Turkmen culture, which will contribute to the development of the Turkmen-Ukrainian relations. During his speech, the Ambassador reported about events and activities planned for the current year. It was about the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine, on the upcoming holidays in Turkmenistan and, of course, about the preparation of Turkmenistan to the V Asian indoor and martial arts games. The Ambassador briefed those present on the progress of preparations for the Asian Games and spoke about the unique Olympic town, built specifically for the Games.

On the same day the Embassy representatives and the students of the university held a solemn presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The rapid pace of horse" translated into Ukrainian language.
