On September 5, 2022, the international conference "Independent Turkmenistan in the international information space" was held at the Archabil hotel in the capital, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the country's independence. Before the start of the largest media forum, the participants got acquainted with a special exhibition.
The purpose of the conference, organized by the national media together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is to widely highlight and popularize the great achievements of the Turkmen state over the years of sovereign development, as well as to deepen the established fruitful cooperation with foreign partners through the media.
The international forum, held in Turkmen, Russian and English, was attended by the heads and employees of the State News Agency (TDH), the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, editorial offices of newspapers and magazines, journalists from foreign media, as well as students of the Faculty of Journalism of higher education institutions in our country.
Their vision of the growing positive position of independent neutral Turkmenistan in the world community, including in the international information space, was presented in video presentations by the First Deputy General Director of the TASS news agency, representatives of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, the Chinese media corporation CGTN-Russian, Asian -Pacific Broadcasting Union, TV channel "Russia Today", interstate magazine "Commonwealth of Arts", international magazine "Turkmenistan", National News Agency of Uzbekistan, etc.
The forum participants noted that thanks to the support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, specialists in the field of both print and electronic media are actively using high digital technologies. Representatives of foreign media expressed their readiness for further development and deepening of cooperation with Turkmen partners, emphasizing that where there is mutual friendship and good relations, there is always an opportunity to exchange objective information.
Thus, the current international media forum once again confirmed the desire of Turkmenistan to strengthen peace and stability, universal social and economic prosperity, as well as to further increase mutually beneficial ties with all interested countries of the planet.
