Solemn conferences dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan were held in the regions of the country

On December 10, 2019, solemn conferences were held in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the International Day of Neutrality.

The conferences were attended by the leaders and employees of several diplomatic missions, consular offices and representative offices of international organizations working in Turkmenistan, deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, employees of khyakimliks and representative offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the regions, honorary elders, representatives of political parties and public associations, educational workers, teachers and university students and media representatives.

Speakers at the conferences, emphasizing the importance of the country's permanent Neutrality, noted the well-established work on steadily strengthening bilateral relations with the states of the world and on active cooperation with international organizations, which is the basis of the country's foreign policy led by the respected President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Speakers also widely noted the outstanding activities of the National Leader carried out within the framework of the state’s neutral policy to strengthen world peace, security and sustainable development, as well as to enhance the culture of mutual trust, and wished the distinguished President success in all his great endeavors.
