On October 9, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation Mehrdad Bazrpash, during which a number of issues related to the upcoming meeting of the Commission were discussed.
In this context, the significance of the visits to Iran of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on June 14-15, 2022, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on May 30-31 this year was highlighted.
Along with this, the ministers noted the importance of the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the above visits.
