On May 15, 2018 a meeting with the students of the National University "Ostrozh Academy" was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine, devoted to the Day of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Day of the State Flag of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was attended by Director General of the Organization for servicing foreign delegations P. Krivonos and Director General of the International project "OUTLOOK" D. Koryakina.
The history of the Ostrozh Academy began in 1576. At present, the Academy trains specialists in the field of international relations, economics, and jurisprudence. National University Ostrozh Academy is a member of the European Association of Universities since 2010, a member of the Consortium of Ukrainian Universities and the University of Warsaw, a member of the Eastern European University Network.
A group of more than 30 Ukrainian students of different courses at the Faculty of "International Relations" of the Ostrozh Academy, accompanied by the dean's office, came from the town of Ostrog, Rovnya region, in order to learn as much as possible about Turkmenistan.
On the eve of the celebration of the Constitution Day of Turkmenistan and the State Flag of Turkmenistan, students were informed about Turkmenistan's foreign policy, development of economy, industry, social sphere and health, education and science, sports, culture and tourism.
It was also told that this year in Turkmenistan is held under the motto "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road". The book of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road" in the Ukrainian language was presented to the attention of the students.
The Embassy presented the aforementioned book of the President of Turkmenistan to the dean of the faculty of "international relations" of the Ostrozh Academy, and to all of the students - a copy of the international magazine "Image.ua", dedicated to the memorable dates of Turkmenistan.
Dean of the faculty on behalf of the administration of the University expressed deep gratitude to the Embassy of Turkmenistan for hospitality, a lot of new, useful information and a memorable event in the life of each of the participating students.
